Oma’s
Choice has always been focused on bringing customers the most unique program

1999, our State Commissioner of Agriculture, Susan Combs and her office staff,
have taken the Taste of Texas Logo and replaced it with the Go Texan Logo.
Her efforts, along with the support of hundreds of hard working Texans,
have brought together a marketing campaign that “promotes all Texas
agriculture products – livestock, food, horticulture and fiber – under one
umbrella. One logo will let consumers recognize all Texas products at a
glance.” This innovative
marketing scheme is rapidly increasing business for Texas producers as well as
those retailing their products.
Oma’s Choice is a proud member of Go Texan and has been recognized by the staff members and the Commissioner as having an excellent product. They have also thanked Oma’s Choice for not only promoting their own PECAN SMOKED JERKY products, but for actively participating in the promotion of other Go Texan products through their DSD Services.
